About

Rich Farwell has been at it for a while:
Twenty-nine years as a self employed woodworker and 22 years at the same location.
Self taught plus two years with James Krenov at the Fine Woodworking Program at College of the Redwoods, Ft Bragg, CA.
My work at Los Osos Woodworking ranges from early 20th century Arts & Crafts to Contemporary styles. Recent work has concentrated on Lighting products made in multiples as well as one-off furniture & casework pieces.
As a working philosophy, I would paraphrase Toshio Odate, master shoji maker: We must do our best; do honest work regardless of what the customer is paying for that work.
